Right now, I’m back on that soundtrack craze… lovin’ it. Personal favorites playlist below. 🙂
We’re definitely on the same wavelength about soundtracks. I think several of them have excerpts that can stand alone as concert pieces. If you get a chance, you might check out these:
The Main Title and End Credits from “EverAfter” – George Fenton
The Main Title and End Credits from “The Patriot” – John Williams
Some of the tracks from a “The Spitfire Grill” – James Horner
“Harvey Two-Face” from Batman (don’t remember which Batman) – Hans Zimmer
and finally, the really old one:
“The Warsaw Concerto” from a movie called Dangerous Moonlight – Richard Addinsell (1941)
You are exceptional.
I absolutely LOVE Ever After. I’ve loved the movie since I was about 4 years old, and the opening sequence is amazing. Thanks for the recommendations, I’ve been listening to them as well!
The UP soundtrack is so beautiful. I love it when you’re playing that. We’ll have to check out some of these soundtracks Mr. Mo recommends. Good stuff!
